About the Course
Multimedia Writing 202 is one of the major courses required in the three Mass Communication majors in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at The American University in Cairo (AUC). This course aims is to teach students how to use various media tools and the style of writing required in each media; such as studying and practicing writing and reporting for print, broadcast, Internet.
This portfolio includes the various assignments which were required from the students, who are unrolled in this class, to prepare at the end of the course.
This course is taught by Professor Kim Fox , Radio Journalism Professor at The American University in Cairo/former reporter/host @WOSU. She taught us how to use the diversity of media in a professional and effective way, ethical issues and standards in each media and how much can we get out of something offered. Students had a hands-on-practice of reporting and investigating several issues on campus.
Multimedia Writing is a very important and effective course that helps students use the media in a different and beneficial way to get the experience of sharing, investigating and reporting in a professional and credible way. Since when any informations is borrowed, it must have an attribution and credited.
